Ian - Animation Progress

What is going well- I think the idea as a whole is going really good. I like the style that I have think it looks cool and fits the animation.

What Im struggling on- there are a few things first was my time but now that we have more I don't think it will be a problem. Another struggle would be getting the story into animation form the way i want it.

Time- I think I did okay with my time I had to change my animation a little to get back on track, so I think I did that well. Spent my time in class working.

Problem solved- as stated up above I had a little trouble with time (thinking i would not get done in time.) but I solved this by changing My animation just a little.

I think a B would be nice for work in progress I worked hard when i was here, I was over half way last class a felt like I was on track for turrning it in on time but I think it would have not been finished if due today. I would give myself a C overall

Still have to do my background and end of my animation also clean a few things up. I think i could be done in 3 or 4 classes.

McKenna- Animation progress

I am getting the look I want.
I am struggling on how to change the facial features without changing the whole thing.
I have been maintaining my time on this project by setting goals on how far I need to get.
I didn't know how to use the bone tool so I looked it up on the blog.

I think i deserve at least a B because its good but there is still more to do.
I have to finish her running away and the bird scene. I think I'll need a couple more weeks to finish it.

Mikki and I are doing a animation of two pets who are opposites and they fall into each other literally and become friends.

We are struggling with the characters faces.
We have been working on different ways on how to do certain things in the animation there a lot of different things bu they come all together.
We were having trouble with the ball scene. We were able to fix it by asking Mr Elmore and also why fixing the obvious witch was it being to small and we had to outline it.
I believe we deserve a C because ours look bad compared to others and theres nothing we could do to make it look as good as the others.
I think we just need the rest of this week and the beginning of when we get back.

Kirsten: Blown Out of Proportion- Animation Progress

So far, the movement of the fish is working out well; however, sometimes it is difficult to make it look natural.
I am struggling with the transitions between backgrounds.  It is hard trying make it look like the camera is following the fish.
Throughout the project, I think my time management has been alright.  Occasionally I get stuck on something small and it sets me back, but I think I'm doing alright as far as time goes.
I couldn't get the net to look natural and go together, but eventually I made it all into one symbol and used the pivot point to make it move instead of the bone tool I tried to use before.
I believe I deserve around a lower a for the work I have accomplished so far.  I was sick for several days and I never came in and made up the time I missed, but while I have been in class I have worked hard the entire period.
I still need to complete the fish deflating and falling back into the boat, and I need to go back and add sound.  It might take around four to five class periods to get the final product.

* On this assignment i am doing well with things like when he exits the truck and chopping the tree.
*I struggled with the walking cycle because i had a had a hard time moving it correctly. I think that later i will have issues with the audio.
*I am managing my time by just working hard and fast, although it is hard.
*An issue that i had was the walking. This took too much time so i cut to the next scene.
*I think i should get a C or B because i have been working very hard on this.
*All i have left is the tree falling on the truck and the audio.

Mikki Animation progess

In the animation I believe the story line is going well, however the character development is being a pain in my side because of all the shapes and color for it.   I have been managing time by working on two scene a day, but since I can't stay awake i had to switch what I was doing for awhile and then get back from it.  The problem I had with this assignment was getting the characters to move and I asked for help and afterwards I started to figure it out.   I believe that I deserve for this work progress grade would be 90 because of the time I spent on this and I didn't get half of what it was asking 80% at the least.

Skylar - Work In Progress -

The things that were going  well for me with my assignment is the actual animation itself. The characters and background look good, so I have no worry there. I am struggling on the sound. Only because I still have little knowledge of the sound editing on Flash, but after playing around I will figure it out. I have been managing the project by setting a timeline. The first week I planned on working on the characters, and the background. The two weeks I worked on animating the characters and environment. With the rest of the time I just worked on improving the animation and trying to work on the sound. One problem I encountered was some of the movements of my characters, when their arms became obsidian. After I played around got the timing perfect, I was able to fix it and and make it look the way I wanted it to. I believe I deserve a "work in progress grade because I have been working very hard over the given time limit, and have my animation complete, minus the sound. The only thing left for me to complete is the sound, which should only take me 1-2 more days.

Brandon- Animation Progress

Things going well right now is Lip Syncing with our audio bit.
I'm struggling with the fact that my partner hasn't been here to help for like, the entire project.
As well as I can without my partner to help.
Vcam was being weird so Mr. Elmore helped me edit the coding to fix it.

For a work in progress grade I feel should be a C or Maybe a B Since I've been working hard without my partner...
Lip Syncing the rest of the characters to the audio... End of the first week back would be nice...

Bion---- Work in progress grade

Everything is going well on the assignment we got it done before the due date. all we have to do is add some more sound.

Finding and adding sounds was  a struggle for are group.

We managed are time well we didn't spend a week on figuring the vcam so we used a static screen instead so we could meet the due date.

We had a problem with the vcam so we solved the problem by taking out the vcam and adding a static scene to the animation.

For a work in progress grade i think i should get a c or a d because I did a horrible  job in some places by not keeping the head on the prisoner's head the same shape in some spots of the story.

nothing unless we decide to add some more sound which should take only half the class maybe or less.

Tristan Finished(maybe)

•The background art design is going well because it is the easiest part of this animation.

•We were struggling on using v-cam for s zoom in during the animation.

•We managed our time well on this animation and worked on our animation the whole time.

•We were having problems with the v-cam and to trouble shoot it we switched to a static like transition.

•I think this animation probably deserves at least a C for its quality.

•We do not have anything left to do unless we feel like adding more sounds.

Devon- Animation Progress

- The backdrop of the animation is going very well and so is the lighting effect that I put in there.
- I am struggling with the character Bill (right) he doesn't like the bone tool so every time I move him he does some weird thing were he splits and gets copied and I have to re-draw him every time it does that. Henry isn't a problem, he works just fine but it's Bill, so I am trying to try to make his entire body one shape so it will be easier.
- I have been managing my time by trying to make this as simple as possible, I'm trying not to make anything seem perfect, I am also trying to just get stupid Bill to work.
- I think that I should get a 90% on this because this isn't quite an animation yet so its more of a short thingy that no one can understand.
- I think I can get this done in a weeks time if Bill will co-operate with me.

Taime Day animation progress

What is going well?- What's going well is the animation, I just need to finish the rest of it.

What am I struggling with?- I'm struggling with the audio because it seems to keep playing throughout the rest of the frame even when delete some frames.

How have I been managing my time?- I've been managing my time by opening my animation in Flash and waiting for the cabinets to open, then I instantly get to work on it. I also open a station on Pandora and leave it there.

Example of a problem?-  Whenever I made a new frame in a new layer and want to make a new animation for symbol, the symbol or animation would interfere with my other animations, I then realized that I had to clear the frames in that layer.

What work in progress grade do I deserve?-  I think I at least deserve a B, I feel like there still is more that needs to be added to this animation.

How much do I have left to complete and how much time do I need?- I'm nearing completion of this, all I really need to do is add the part where Jason gets taken over and add more colors to each frame. I also need to add more sound.
