Inspirational Images

 These are some rough ideas on what I want my uniform to look like. It will be a basic plain uniform like the old days with "Post 2" on the jersey and the oil barrack on the hat. The uniform will have high pants with stirrups as socks. I hope this turns out the way I image it turning out.

Theme Proposal

I chose the theme old school and decided to create an old school baseball uniform. I'm going to baseball the team off of our legion team the Casper Oilers. However I'm going to use Post 2 as the design on the jersey and an oiler barrack as the logo on the hat.

Theme II - Weekly Goal

This week I hope to start my theme, however seeing as I can't find a sufficient model on the internet that could be a problem. So might have to take pictures this weekend which would put me behind. In the meantime I'm going to experiment with lighting techniques etc. by looking at some tutorials. I'll see what I can do.

Theme II- Wings With No Color Inspiration

I like this piece because it really reminds me of what fantasia looks like in my head. I also like the glow effects and lighting that really brings this piece all together. I really want to try to incorporate new photoshop skills into this piece, especially lighting and abstract effects.

I'm not really sure if this is a piece of artwork or a photograph of colored feathers. But I want to incorporate colored feathers in my piece and have them as individual feathers. This also shows what I want to do with my no color idea.

I really like this photoshop manipulation. It has subtle lighting and glow affects. It also shows how I want to incorporate the no color theme, by having the main parts black and white and then have the color slowly increasing in intensity as the feathers get farther and farther away from the person, as if the person is losing color.

Not really sure how these abstract wings apply to my idea, I just thought they were cool, and I think they're used for some sort of advertising campaign. However I could possibly make a vector type thing similar to this and then use that as the remnants of wings on the person...

I like the photoshop abstract effects that were added along with the other glow and lighting effects. I also like how the egrets body and wings were compiled from individual feathers making the egret in itself an abstract thing.

I don't think I'm really going to use the fantasia idea, just use the lighting ideas from it. So my official theme is wings with no color. I hope it turns out how I'm envisioning it in my head, although I haven't found any pictures of people in the right pose I'm looking for, so may have to do that myself, thus incorporating some photography.

Theme - Voodoo

It is going to be a bloody voodoo doll nailed to a tree or wooden wall. But if the school asks it not covered in blood but strawberry jam.

Goal/Reflet/Goal/Inspiration

These are what i finished while Destany was gone last week. I got pretty pro at retroizing photos but now im fed up with it so I am going to start a 2D animation this week. My Inspiration is coming from Don Hertzfelt. Destany and I should hopefully be able to start on our Portrait project Wed. So this is basically my goal/reflection/goal/inspiration since the internet was so slow last week.

Proposal for next digital illustration

I sort of made up my own "theme" I guess. I am just going to draw a digital illustration from my favoirte BBC show called Sherlock. I will probably get this done before the week ends. Hopefully, maybe not. Because I have a hard time drawing the characters. I guess I have to do the inspiration pictures now.

Theme and ink start

Today I am going to put together a piece to do in ink for my drawing class that consists of the themes of kick in the head, blood, and foreign; afterwards, I will brainstorm more for the steampunk troopers designs since I was gone for mos of last week.

Weekly Goal

This week I plan on started and creating a new theme out of the 100 theme challenge. I've already completed 3 and hope to finish another one by friday.

Theme II Proposal

For my second theme project I want to do the theme "wings" for sure. I also am thinking about combining the wings theme with either "fantasia" or "no color". I want to have a girl sitting down and reaching out to something off in the distance. I will then have feathers blowing away from her and she will have the remnants of wings. If I add the fantasia idea then I will have some animals and whimsical objects interspersed with the feathers, along with some lighting. If I go with the no color idea then I will have the girl be black and white along with the feathers closest to her. The other feathers will slowly have color the farther away from the girl they are, as if the color is bleeding out and disappearing.

So this is my war theme. It turned out pretty good and I am happy with it :)

I'm done. YAY. I think I produced the theme very well in this picture.

What if..

For my third theme I chose the "What If.." theme. I created an alien head and said "What if.. Aliens were real?!" I think this turned out very cool. It looks pretty realistic.

For my 3rd theme I chose the "what if.." theme. I'm going to transform Tom Cruise's head into an alien head and have " What if.. Aliens were real."

What if pigs could fly

I finished my "What If..." theme by finishing the thought with "Pigs Could Fly". I am pretty happy with the way that this turned out and I am glad that I chose this theme. It wasn't very hard, the hardest part was probably finding the pictures of different pigs and wings to use.

Goal and Reflection

My goal for this week was to finish my lace theme project. Thankfully I did finish it so I can move on to my next project. I guess it embodies the lace theme although not really sure if I successfully portrayed that theme. I guess I'm happy with it seeing as it was just a quick photo manipulation thing.

Reflecting

I think it is finished.  I'm not entirely sure what else to do with it.  I'm not even sure if I like it much.  I do know that the insomnia theme definitely turned into a dream theme.  I didn't encounter any problems when working with it though, so that's good :)

Rainbow Theme

This is my completed Rainbow Theme. I really like how it turned out and I think its one of the better projects I've completed. Thanks to some photoshop tutorials I was able to make the rainbow look real. I also added geese in the back and a river monster to give the image a more realistic feel.

So this is my finished product for the theme Insanity. This was actually quite easy and I had a lot of fun. No problems or anything. Woo.

Last week the computer was running extremely slowly, so I couldn't post my reflection.  This is my interpretation of insomnia, which has actually turned into dreams.  So far I like the way it looks.  I feel like there's something missing but I don't know what else to put in.

This is my progress on mt "What If..." theme so far. I should be done fairly soon and just want to touch it up and add the text "What If... Pigs could fly" and then I should be done. I like the way that this has turned out so far.

Goal and Reflection

This week I am going to make a animated pixel of either a unicorn, a corgi, or a female character. I may try to do all, but this is just a little project while I draw out another piece. This other piece will be slightly a horror piece. Not so much so, but just creepy. I plan to go for a more stylized character and see how more I can do to make it colorful and a bit dirty. The piece will basically be a psycho girl with a animal mascot head on and a variety of colors that may or may not be alien blood splatters. :)

This week i finished my project all that it has to do is render and now i am starting on my name.

since Destany isnt here again today im going to work on a seperate theme project until she is here. Today i whipped out another name tag and now im going to go with a retro/ tarnished kind of theme. ill have Mr. Elmore take my picture and go from there. It will probably take me today and one more class period to finish so i plan to have it done in two class periods.

Theme 2 Inspiration

The theme for this year is steampunk, so I need to use both the steampunk style and the troopers logo in my design.

I had a discussion with one of the members of the State Trooper Marching Band about designing some images for products and advertisements using the themes of steam-punk and the troopers.

I Hope by the next two weeks to get the theme done and making it look. I'll try to get all the other stuff needed done.

I am now working in photoshop. I didn't think it would take me so long to find suitable articles and other photos I needed. But i like the ones I have so it was worth it.

Blood Theme Prt 1

Here is the first part of my blood theme. It isn't the best hand but it is showing what I want. The hand represents the Dark Brotherhood from Skyrim. This hand is the symbol for an assassination team.

Proposal

For my second theme I think I'm going to do a rainbow. Right now I'm messing around in photoshop to see what I could do. I have a good background so far now just have to do the rainbow.

I want to make a mime trapped in a clear box with a clear padlock for the themes of silence and no way out. These are just the elements of the art, but I will most likely make the mime more cartoon like.

Inspiration

I've added the idea of dreams to my Insomnia idea. I think when an insomniac finally dreams, it could be pretty crazy. Alice in Wonderland is a good example with the technicolor and crazy happenings.
