Here are a few cartoon characters that I remember and enjoyed when I was younger. I think what I liked about these cartoons was the humor behind them all. What I notice that's cool with cartoons is the exaggerated features- long, skinny legs or a big nose. The color concept is simple with basic colors with little shading or depth. In each of these cartons, I found that the characters are relatively silly. What I like about The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy was the darker underlying tones with silly concepts. I will probably go for a goofy character of my own, but we'll see.
