Reflection
So far, I have made sketches of the infomercial and now in the process of building an environment with Optimus Prime currently sitting and doing nothing right now. The only contributions here are from me, since I'm doing this project alone.
Idk why, but I gave Optimus a mouth because the character was going to be someone entirely different, but I decided hey, why not the leader of the autobots himself?
The next objective I plan on completing is building more of the environment and finding sounds for the video and ones that will fit.

weekly update 2/27
This week I finished animating the elephant walking, it proved to be quite the task. It's satisfying to see now that its done, and i know i have a long ways to go in animating the rest of my short scene. I plan next to continue animating the boy and his story at the zoo. I still have a long ways to go, i have to animate the trees and water and grass, and the animal in the surrounding pen. I may have bitten off more than I can chew.

Weekly Reflection
So here's what I came put with this week, I just colored my original sketch of "dustbowl" real quick so I could have an idea of the colors. Obviously this is not the final form, I'll probably re-sketch the whole thing in more detail so I more to work with. For now I have the colors in my mind so that'll make things easier, so next comes my next attempt
weekly update 2/21
This week i have used the two class days to work on the walk cycle of my elephant, i have decided to finish out the walk cycle but im going to use the camera angle to only show the elephant from about mid leg up. That takes much of the attention off the walk and still captures the animal walking. It will require a lot less time. I can now use the time ive saved to try and really show the weight behind the way an elephant walks. There is a lot more to the way an animal walks vs a human, they use their legs, weight, and head in completely different ways. Im going to spend the next week to move the elephants ears and trunk when he walks. I watched the video of the 12 principals of animation, and that showed me that i should animate more than just a walk cycle, something else on the character needs to be moving, ergo im going to move the ears and trunk,

Background-
The reason why I chose to go black and white, as to sun and moon is because, I wanted kind of a Parallel universe theme. Such is why one half looks slight more modern than the other. I also wanted to show that even though these are entirely different universes... they still have the same sky... no matter where you are in the world you can connect with millions of other people just by looking up... because no matter where you are, you will always see the same sky...
Reflection-
Quite honestly, I had a lot of problems with this project. first my partner left in the middle of it... I had chosen to go above and beyond what was expected of me and I just wasn't ready.I feel that from now on I'm gonna take on challenges that I'm ready for...
Complications I over came- Partner left, Work file becoming Corrupt
The good- Painted the background for the animation in Photoshop, had a fluid animation going
