Reflection:
Challenges-
I suppose my biggest challenge has been how smooth the
animations have been. For example, in the hand might ‘jump” out of its original
place as well as the steering wheel has been displaced throughout the entire
animation. I have worked on the steering wheel so that it doesn’t look too
apparent that the wheel has jumped around (it’s more of a gradual movement
down, not to the point that it’s noticeable though >.<). The wind shield
wipers need some work to ‘smooth’ out, but I feel like I will be an easy fix. I also need to try to slow down the beginning because I feel like somethings are happening way too fast.
I’m nervous about the character looking to his side and
seeing the alien, because I don’t know how to transition into new scenes, and I
don’t want it to feel jumpy or forced.
I really do think I’ll get my animation done by the end of
March. It’s been surprisingly easy and faster than I have thought. I want to
spend a few days cleaning up and making the animation prettier, but I’ll save
that for the end. Overall, I think that my independent project has been going well.
I’m over half way through this project and I feel like it’ll be ready soon.
