The scene opens up in a martial arts/dojo type scenario,
there is a pupil and a master. The master trains the pupil to be the best
swordsman he/she can be. The pupil practices on watermelons by slicing them up
and about. With each slice, the master shakes their head no, the cut isn’t
perfect. The student is forced to repeat the slice over and over until the
master approves of their work. All this time the student fills with anger and
frustration while the master sits calmly. Nearing the end of the animation, the
student focuses intently, and slices the melon in two, a perfectly level, and
even cut. The master nods their head in approval. Practice makes perfect, as it
seems.
