artist discovery




















the picture on the left is called the deference engine
it is done by an artist that goes by imphead i like his fifties and post mordern influences combined with the realistic back grounds on the use of muted organic colors combined with unatural colors
the photo on the right is labeled the angel of death by manuhell its use of dark colors reminds me of art of the black death with rennascance oil painting techniques

Independent Project - Final Goals

Due February 18th you are to have a written statement of what is going to be accomplished by April 8th. What medium are you going to work in, how many images will you create, will you work collaboratively and so on? Also collect imagery from artist that inspire the direction you're going for.

You will be given a grade for posting your written goal to the blog by Friday 2/18/2011.

The second artist I discovered was David Terrazas. I think that he takes great pictures. In his albums, some of his photos are of cities and they really give you an inside look on what life is like in these places. The photo on this post is taken in Madrid, I really like the way it looks. Overall I don't think there is any thing I don't like about David's pictures. There are a few of his pictures that were taken in black and white and they are very fascinating. I love black and white pictures so that's why I like this artist so much.
