Weekly Goal
This week's goal is to at least begin an illustration on three of the four main protagonists of the current book series: Dovepaw, Lionblaze, and Jayfeather. I will later do a picture of Dovepaw together with her sister, Ivypaw.
New Project
For my new independent project I plan to illustrate characters from a book series I sometimes read. I will use the same processes as I did for my first project.

$$$ NCHS T-Shirt Contest $$$
Hello, my name is Lisa Herr and I am heading the NCHS Class of 1986 25th class reunion. I know that the end of the school year is approaching and that the NCHS Class of 2011 is very busy but I was hoping that you could help our reunion with a little project. We would like to have any senior artist submit their idea for a reunion t-shirt for us. Mind you they do not have to be an art student, just a student with a talent for art. We are willing to offer first, second and third place money awards ($50, $100 & $150) for those that submit something to our committee. The only thing that we ask is that it is representative of NCHS and all that it represents, along with it being our 25th reunion. I can be reached at 307-299-6476, lisa_herr@msn.com or lisa.herr@mrcpvf.com .
We appreciate all the help we can get with this project. We just feel that it would be wonderful to have our shirts be created by a future NCHS alumnus.
Thank You,
Lisa
Instructions
You may create these designs in either Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. I would recommend Illustrator myself. The settings for these documents will be:
For Illustrator > select File New > change Document Profile to "Print", size to "Tabloid" and units to "Inches" and hit ok.
For Photoshop > select File New > change Presets to "U.S. Paper", size to "Tabloid" and hit ok.
Note: Make sure that your not dragging and dropping images onto the canvas, but creating new and original artwork! Also be sure to use many different layers. I also suggest starting out with pencil and paper because it's much quicker to brainstorm. These will be due by the end of next week for a grade. The hardest thing for you will to create something that this generation of people will like.
Good luck and win some of those dolla, dolla bills y'all :)

Week 8 Reflection-Alanna

This week I finished the house! :D My teammates and I started to import our parts together but Weston still has to add in the spray paint cans and the man, while Brody needs to add the longboard. All in all, my part is complete :) They plan on coming in at lunch and working on it so then we have it all done. I will come in too if I need to. We also have tomorrow at lunch if we need a few more minutes to gather ourselves.
Final weekly goals
I hope to have the color changed on his suit from orange to purple. And I hope to get it from mudbox into maya and on my guy.
weekly refelction
I have almost everything done. I just need to put the final touches to my title screen and render my fish, which i plan on doing at lunch today.

final week goal/ overall reflection
My goal for this last week is to get everything turned in. Even though my goal for the whole project was to get 4 photomontages finished I only did 2 because they both took a lot of time and effort. Overall I'm proud of the work I did on both of them.

Week 8 Goal- Alanna
Now this is the last week for me and my teammates to work on our project. Adding a couple more windows after careful consideration will make my end of the project complete. Then Weston and I can add our additions to Brody's. After that, I believe we are going to win the state art show! :)) Well I hope at least.
Week 7 Reflection-Alanna

This week I thought was the last week to work on our independent projects, but I guess I was wrong. This week though I was able to add in a few windows. One of my windows was being extremely difficult at first but Mr. Elmore helped me work around my problem. I also made some railing for the deck on the house. I think it looks pretty swell.
Week 7 Goal-Alanna
This week I would like to figure out the best placement areas for the rest of the windows. I have been stumped recently but have been trying my best. So I need to place more windows and then I think my teammates and I can assemble the pieces of our puzzle (project) together.
4/18
This week I am going to come up with ideas for my new project. I am not positive on what I will do so I need to take time to look at samples.
