Almost Done

End of The Week

I think that I got a lot of things accomplished, my project is pretty much done, just working on my Ambient Occlusion now. I added a trash can to the scene and still rendered it.

Update.

My guitar is coming along nicely. My next task will be to get the strings finished. This week I got all the parts put together and colored. This took lots of modifications, Next time I will be makeing all of the pieces on ONE document. O.o

Rendering

I think that i did good this week because i am almost done. I am still batch rendering and will make the movie soon. There is so much things you have to do to make a movie. I would like to have this done by next week.

Today I finished making Odin, Thor's father. It took me a day to make because of how complex his armor is. Next time I'll make Loki and will make a lineup of the three.

Week 7 Resolution

This week was a bit hectic due to the fact that I ran into some problems while painting my blimp windows in Mudbox. I decided to take my blimp back into Maya and make a PSD map to reapply the skin into Maya. I then decided to make the window faces that were causing problems and turned them into a black transparent phong.
I hope to get this done soon.

The picture on top is what i completed yesterday. I had to think about what details i should and shouldn't put in, but I think it turned out grate.

Last Week Reflection and New Goal

I finished my second illustration and began work on a Halloween/autumn-themed one. I finished most of it last week and I just need to fine-tune it a little before my project is completely finished.

My goal for this week is to try and do one last photo montage so I can accomplish my overall goal.

This week I hope to render my blimp, as well as make some turn table shots and the ambient occulusion.
I also plan on doing some personal non related school art so I could place some orders on zazzle.com. I might put something up on the blog when I get have some rough sketches.

I just want to put the finishing touches on my project and start going through the tutorials on the server.

Ok. Since, sadly, my other project was deleted two classes before, I'm going to make a head on Mudbox and turn it into a skull.

State Art Symposium April 29th

It's that time again...state art show! Here is the bus schedule:

Setting Up the State Show
Thursday, April 28th: Bus leaves NC at 8:00 am. This is a oneway bus trip. Students need to make arrangements to get back to school.

Students who would like to be apart of the setup crew need to leave a comment with your name, or talk to me about getting on the list. If you help with the setup crew on thursday the 28th then you are required to be apart of the breakdown crew on saturday the 30 after 12:00pm.

Field Trip for Art Students
Friday, April 29th: Bus leaves NC at 12:00 noon. Bus leaves Casper Events Center at 2:15 pm.

Students who would like to take a field to the symposium must also get your name on the list so you can be excused. This list must be turned in by April 26th or you will not be able to go.

Week 6 Reflection-Alanna

This week I was able to do the windows and doors. I also fixed the tube entrance. I plan on coming in at another time today to finish adding a few more windows and doors. I added a wood texture to the doors and a shiny gray to the handles. Just a few more finishing touches and then all of our project pieces can be assembled together!! :)

Weekly Reflection

This week i didn't complete my goal. i wanted to have my piece finished, however, shading took longer than i thought. I still have to figure out the background and such and then i'll have completed my piece.

Week 6 Resolution

This week I got most of what I wanted to get done, which was get the rough sculpting/painting done in Maya.
Still need to finish with some minor details (Logos).

I finished two corners of glass and re did the ice so it looks more realistic.

Complete independent Project

I think that the dugout looks really good and actually looks like a dugout. I put sunflower seeds all over the floor and bench and put a texture on the bench. Overall I am very happy with the outcome f this project.

End of Last week (?)

Put everything into one maya file and am still waiting for the boys to get done with their people. I also have to adjust the rain still. The clouds gave me a lot of problems but i finally figured out how to do them.

Well we are sort of getting closer but with the ncloth holding us back, we cant cause the suit/jacket is bugged

I sort of got the coat to stay on my character during animation.

I finished my project and I think it turned out pretty good. I am glad about how the street and buildings turned out.

This is going to be my weekly accomplishments as well. Last week I sucked at this and this week I seemed to crank it out fast because I recolored the whole thing and finished in just three days.

This week I would like to have the doors and windows added in so then the house will be ready for the state show. Along with the windows and doors, some additional landscape features could be added, but I will see what I can do.

Week Goals

This week I want to really finish my project, but that is impossible. I have to either go through my piece and extensively fix it or start over. I sort of started over already, but I can try the other way before I get too far.

Week 6 goals

As a first priority, I want to finish the fur. Secondarily, I want to improve the rotating plane that the fox sits on. Tertiary, I want to create a new snow-forest scene to pose the fox modle in.

I got the clouds main part built and finished the final touches on the rean. The rendering is a pain and takes ages but it looks good as a result so i guess it is worth it. my pics will not upload

i got to finish my goal of adding water and hopefully the last little additions to my buildings. the only thing really left to do is to model a boat.

My goal was accomplished and my phone and its cord is complete, I started to make sunflower seeds and put them on the ground. The dugout is starting to look really good in my opinion.
