I didn't accomplish my goal but i am very glad the way it turned out. I am working on the door for the buildings. By next week i will have the buildings done. I put the floors in on the building because you can see no floors through the windows so i added them.
i didn't quite make it to my goal because i still have a little modeling left to do on the first building. i ran into a few problems with edges was time consuming to make the borders for the windows and doors.
I got all of the buildings done and the city is mostly put together. It toke forever to do the windows on the buildings but everything else went pretty smoothly.
I accomplished my goal this week by finishing all the face off circles and goalie crease. I also created a net for my goalie nets.
I feel like I accomplished my goal, I got my water cooler and helmets done. I even put phone boxes in and I am working on improving them. I think that the dug out looks pretty good.
During this week I accomplished quite a bit of my overall project. I'm really happy with the progress I have made and I believe I almost have this blimp ready for Mudbox. I hoped to get the general structure of my blimp created as well as work on the motor for the blimp. As you can see I accomplished both of these goals with the provided pictures.
I did not accomplish my goals, but I am much happier with the way the modle is looking than I was last week. The front paws and ears are all completed, the only thing left to do is the snout.
This week I was able to complete the render of half of the exterior. I think it is looking good so far, but I don't know how the inside is supposed to be like when the house is a solid shape... But yes, I would say I did good this week. :)
I completed my goal for this week. I finally found a good colour scheme for my first project. I also added more characters to it. However, i do like the new colouring. It makes it seem more threatening. Furthermore, I started another project, this one is a lizard "throwing up" all kinds of stuff: mushrooms, curvy lines, flowers, butterflies. Yet I've only just began it and all i have done is the outline of the lizard, some of the curvy lines and working on a mushroom.
Right now i will still continue with adding texture to my human guy. I am guess that i am going to take some time to add the texture, but this is how much i have got done.
I will try to get all of the buildings laid out out and made. I will also try to make the streets and maybe some light posts i have not decided quite yet.
The last time I worked on the illustration, the coloring process took longer than expected, and I was not able to meet my goal of two completed pictures. This week I aim to draw another picture, since I will be absent on Thursday and will not be able to do much more than that. The illustration shown above was made using a combination of Photoshopping real things in (the cloud), and coloring in my rough sketch.
The floor design of the house still needs to be produced, but I can do that at home I’m thinking. In class I would like to start the render of the house, mainly focusing on the exterior, because I don’t know what the interior will look like yet.
This week I hope to at least have my piece shaded. I may have to redraw a few aspects of it. I also want to be able to get it scanned, but you never know.
Weekly Progress I got all of my papers shaded. I just need to draw out the skull design, then I can scan all of the papers and start shading.
This week I hope to complete the colouring for the piece I'm working on now. Last time I started messing with the colours, but didn't like the way it looked. So I am wanting to complete how I want to colour it. Then maybe start on another idea and start forming it in Illustrator, if time allows.
This week I plan to have the tower complete. The tower again will have three rows of windows goin' up the sides of it. one door that is about two steps above the ground. from the tower's sides will be the actual church and a court yard.
Monday March 14th - Friday March 18th Considering I was unable to finish my goal of being able to model the cabin of my blimp during week 2, I would hope to finish that as well as possibly adding the motors of the blimp in as well. If all goes as planned I should be able to complete this by Wednesday and might be able to put this into Mudbox on Friday.
My goal for week 3 is to have my first photomontage finished. It's already taken longer than I thought it would to get only half way finished with it. I plan on finishing the second one in the two weeks it's supposed to be finished in.
This is what I worked on for most of spring break.
I tried doing this is maya first, but the physics engine in maya is ridiculously slow. Even just a 16 second test render took 23 hours to render. I moved to blender, which I am MUCH happier with. It can simulate rigid body physics interactions at near real time, wich was essential for al the trail-and-error it took to get this animation to look right.
The YouTube video description has a definition of a "Kapla Block" if you don't already know.
My chief inspiration for this came from the digital artist "Phymec" and this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9HaT23b-xc
So much for working on my final project... But this was fun, and I learned a lot.
I accomplished my goal and got much further than I expected. I got all of my limbs modeled, and also started smoothing out the final figure in Mudbox. I'm not happy with the way that anything forward of the shoulders is going right now, but there's plenty of time still to make adjustments.
I didn't accomplish my weekly goal because my photomontge is taking longer than I thought. I just have to adjust some more things such as the colors and saturation and what not, hopefully I will be finished next week.
This week my goal was to start working on the computer. which I completed . I had started working on it, and I'm almost done with the first idea i had. However, I don't like the colouring and i might mess with it some more next week.

I Finished most of my trench coat this week. But I didn't start texturing it yet.
I nearly completed the first building, but had a few minor setbacks and did not fully complete it. So for this week, I didn't exactly complete my goal of completely modeling at least one of my buildings.
I had finished cutting the buildings so now i have to paint and add the posters. I think that i made good time. I hope by next week i will be done with the buildings.
This week was pretty good. I got a lot of stuff done. I finished my sketches of the blimp, and then started to mess around in Maya. I reached my goal of getting the basic frame complete but would have liked to have started on the cabin. Oh well~
I got the Baseball Bats and Water Cups done and that shape behind the cups is just a quick attempt of a water cooler. Overall I am pretty happy with what I have accomplished and hope to get more done soon.
first of all i was at the math contest Tuesday, sorry that i was not here. my goal for the week is to finish my story board and get it approved. sadly i will probably not get that done.
By the end of this week, I hope to have the front and side sketches of the house completed; a floor plan to accompany those would be very nice too. Brody and Weston will be working on their parts of the project, like the pool and person. If I do not finish my sketches this week, I will show you what I have completed and then tell you my intentions for the rest of the house. I can work on the sketches at my house during the weekend if given the opportunity.
By Thursday I will want to have my montages done. I will want to have my building layout done so that I can start building the buildings. I hopefully can be able to form the main building that I can put the pictures on them by next week.
This week I hope to finish at least one of the two buildings, completely modeled to my liking. And hopefully by the end of the week, I'll have both of the buildings modeled in maya, and if I do get done with that, I'd like to work on the small additions off of the buildings.
This week i am going to work on my drawings that represent me and my likings. I have worked on it at home and in class so i get twice as much done. i will be done drawing by today or Thursday.
Week 2 - March 1st-March 3rd I would hope to get the basic structure of my blimp complete, I will hopefully be able to create the engines as well. If all goes well I should be able to start on the Gondola or the cabin of the blimp. If I complete both of these I will be well on my way to texturing.
This week I am starting the clock/bell tower part of the church. I plan to have the rough features finished on the tower and maybe the court yard. It will have several open windows on each side of the tower, a double door at the base. the Court yard is going to have a pair of benches under neath an over hang extending from the tower. Happy Tuesday!
