I really want to change the color of my lighting to look like a sunset and then maybe continue on to something else since I have a base for a couple of other environments ready. I plan on moving onto something else by next week because i want something more then just just the one environment.

I was not here for this class on Weds. But today i have finished and I'm starting to put my image/design on these models with different colors and kinds of T shirts.

Reflection 2/24

I am slightly behind schedule, but I ran into problems with the bird at first. Now it is fixed, and I can start making a room to put all of the models and rigs in.

Reaction

This week I succeed my goal. I have added a fence, trees and grass to my scene as well as making it look more and more realistic. On my breakdown I am way ahead of schedule. I have some finishing touches to do and I think i'm close to the end.

my progress has been good although i got done fairly quickly on the breakdown but my later additions are going as planned my study into mudbox is going good and i hope to get a print done soon.

Well I got four characters done today. The one with with the purple hair, the one with the yellow ugly hair, the one with a brown hair, and the one with the blue skin. I really like how this is coming out. I'm getting a lot done fast which I am quite happy with. The only problem I'm going to have is when I get to the background. Ugh.

Reflection

I feel like I accomplished my goal this week but the main thing that I am pretty happy with is the new tone knobs that I made. Mr. Elmore helped me figure how to make ridges along the side of the knob. I think that they look a lot better now.

Reflection... Finished?

The neck is fixed and the departure of skin from skull is complete. I'm pretty proud of the way it looks so far. I think I'm virtually done, but I need a break from Poe for a while, so I'm going to look for some inspiration to start another project. I'm going to stick with the digital illustration or photoshop things, though.

Week Final

This week I have just been drawing animals and knives and swords. I am ahead of schedule when it comes to my independent project. I finished and am just basically drawing for fun.

Reflection On New Project

I am not sure as to what I want to do. I might do two projects at once so I don't get bored. I am torn between doing another painting or a 3d sculpture. I am thinking of making a sort of tribute piece to some of my favorite books or movies. Some ideas I have for paintings are zombies, Disney princess interpretations/or a new princess, or some concept ideas for stories I want to write. I really want to do a piece on the anarchy going on around the world. I really want to be a part of it, but I live so far away so maybe my art will reach the rebels that are fighting.

I achieved my goal for this week and so far I really like how it looks. The trees are looking really great and I'm excited to be done.

I actually got a lot more done then I thought I was going to. I didn't get any work done on my animation though this week... Which is okay because I'm losing attention with it anyways. So no, I did NOT reach my goal for this week. Nothing new of course. So, yeppers. Here it is.

I acomplished my goal by finishing the fish and now I am moving on to a background of sorts. Im not totally sure what the background is going to be at this point but im just going to doodle something i think. Lookin' good.

Reflection 2/15

I polished off some of the other props, but most of my week was spent creating some simple cartoon like plants and a bird that will be a simple rig. My plan is to use them all in a sort of lab, so the plants are meant to look like plastic.

I got A lot done this week like the noes,eyes and check on the skull head. It was hard work but I did with help. I hope to get the head done as soon as possaible.

I feel like I met my goal. I created two more effects pedals on Monday and then messed around with textures today. I really like the way the 2nd pedal from the right turned out.

I'm thinking about finishing this week, I like the way things are looking and there is not much more i want to add. So I'm going to bring everything to a close hopefully this week.

This week I plan on trying to put the finishing touches on the baseball field, basketball court, and football field. Make them look as real as possible. I also plan on making some parking spots and maybe adding a car or two.

Um... i believe that im going to not start on my texture pack, but draw an animal for a friend, cuz he wants one for buying my a guitar :) so in going to just sketch some stuff up and see what i like.

After having further issues with Adobe Flash, I have decided to make an M32 Grenade launcher, I already have the canister, handle, and rotary shaft complete.

Day One

Product from my first day on this project.

Independent Project Finished Look

After having my first project deleted I was pretty mad, but this second project turned out pretty good. I had started my first project back in November. It was nearly complete. All I needed to do was paint the thing. I am happy at the way this dragon turned out. This dragon didn't take me as long to finish. The hardest part was probably drawing the dragon out on paper. The colors for the dragon came from a picture of an armadillo lizard. Then, I added the cave as a place for the dragon to live. The eggs are from the dragon's wife. He has to look after them. The lizard females usually eat there eggs. I believe that is what dragons do as well. That is why I made my dragon a male. The dark lines on the ground represent track marks from the dragon landing. There is the nest where the most important egg is, and there is the sky. I used a gradient of four different blues to make the sky. The dragon in the picture is just now landing. That was my idea for my independent project.

Ok I've decided I'm going to do a project in maya instead of photoshop. Im going to make the little turrents off of Portal 2 and give them diffrent skin and colored lazers and make them move and sing.

Well, as you can see Elmore and I decided to scrap the old flangies once i finished the dorsal fin so i didnt totally meet my goal for the week but it is looking alot better with the change.
