Week 5 Reflection

I did not get the particle fur system working yet as was my goal, but I got all modeling and texturing done, including a simulated fur texture.

I am almost finished with my next illustration. I will definitely be finished with it next week.

I got my helmet completed ths week now i just need to get it into mudbox

Week 5 Reflection- Alanna

I was able to accomplish my goal this week! I finished the house and I started to work on the door to the tube entrance. Weston and Brody gave me ideas on where to add some windows and doors, so I can work on that next week.

Week 5 Reflection

This week i did complete my goal of finishing adding more details,completing the lizard, and start colouring. Adding details and completing the lizard was kinda hard. Getting the shape right was the hardest part and it took some time. Also, I took the image into photoshop to paint it. For this project, i want to add highlights, and shadows to make it somewhat realistitic. I just used solid colours for right now on the mushrooms and the tongue/big swirl. Also, i started to add some shadows on the tongue.

So far, I have gotten the suit done. I'm not going to do details on it until the guns are finished. The pistol and the missile launcher need a few more details, but they are almost done.

My goal this week is to finish the basic model of the house, and then scale it to the proper size. Then I'll start adding the texture, windows and doors to make the structure look more realistic.

I plan to finish the picture I have now, possibly drawing another rough sketch to scan into the computer. I was absent for the entire previous week, so I have a lot of catching up to do.

My goal is to complete working on the details part of my project. I want to finish adding the details to the lizard and other little pieces. Also, I want to start colouring it. I know I won't finish colouring it, but I want to start and get an idea for what colours I want to use.

I was gone so here is my final look over last week's goal. I got the city completely done and we have got our concept down to what we want the rest of the background to be.

Monday March 28th - Friday April 1st
Last week I didn't accomplish my goals of finishing my cabin area for my blimp and taking it into Mudbox like I wanted to due to the fact that I ran into some problems with some hidden faces and such. So hopefully this week I will be able to finish the cabin area and cut some UVs.

Week 4 Reflection: Well I had to delete part of my model because it was broken up too many times and there were numerous faces on each side. So Mr. Elmore re-did the shape for me and now I am a little behind. I almost finished but the deleting of half my shape threw me off course.

it seems to be taking time to create the feet. so probably i might take more time creating them into shoes....hopefully ill finish next week.

Week 4 Reflection

This week I didn't finish my goal. I finished a lot of the design, but i didn't finish adding details to the lizard. However, i did finish making mushrooms, swirls, and butterflies (which i added colour to them, making them glow).

I did my goal of painting the city basic colors for this week now and my lizard skin color is bake now. I plan on making my city look more realistic.

Week 4 Goal-Alanna

What I hope to accomplish this week, or at least during the two days we have class, would be to finish the structure of the house, meaning the exterior. For this independent project, I would like to have modeled the interior of the house as well as the exterior but for my partners and I, we only need the exterior to be complete. The reason for this is because Weston is animating a man and then having him spray paint the outside of the house. Brody is making the pool and landscape. Once he is done with that then he might be able to help me with the house or modeling the shed for the graffiti artist.

i didn't really get anything done, except for the side windows because i missed a class period and didn't really start on what i wanted, which was additions, and possibly a third building.

This week a got half way through the ncloth clothing tutorial.

Considering the amount of progress that I had last week I hope to make the windows of my cabin for the blimp complete. By then I should be able to take this blimp into mudbox and start the texturing.

This week i will try to start to make the shoes for Varen.

This week I hope to accomplish making all the shapes for my newest idea. I'll have to make some mushrooms, butterflies, finish the details on the lizards, and add some more swirls. It shouldn't be too hard and if I get all that done, I want to start colouring it.

This week I am pretty sure I will have quite a bit of my piece colored with at least their main colors. If not then I at least want to have two pieces of the whole drawing colored in the main color. I need my tablet.

Building ad

I didn't accomplish my goal but i am very glad the way it turned out. I am working on the door for the buildings. By next week i will have the buildings done. I put the floors in on the building because you can see no floors through the windows so i added them.

i didn't quite make it to my goal because i still have a little modeling left to do on the first building. i ran into a few problems with edges was time consuming to make the borders for the windows and doors.

Week 3 reflection

I got all of the buildings done and the city is mostly put together. It toke forever to do the windows on the buildings but everything else went pretty smoothly.

I accomplished my goal this week by finishing all the face off circles and goalie crease. I also created a net for my goalie nets.

End Of The Week

I feel like I accomplished my goal, I got my water cooler and helmets done. I even put phone boxes in and I am working on improving them. I think that the dug out looks pretty good.

Week 3 Reflection

During this week I accomplished quite a bit of my overall project. I'm really happy with the progress I have made and I believe I almost have this blimp ready for Mudbox. I hoped to get the general structure of my blimp created as well as work on the motor for the blimp. As you can see I accomplished both of these goals with the provided pictures.

I did not accomplish my goals, but I am much happier with the way the modle is looking than I was last week. The front paws and ears are all completed, the only thing left to do is the snout.
