A collage is a type of artwork that's particular in combining pieces to create a unified whole. It can include things such as newspaper, pictures, etc. Usually done by gluing to the canvas, since it derives from the French "coller" which means glue. A photomontage however is a composite photograph that is combined by other photos by cutting and joining. They are similar in that they both in a way combine elements but different in that photomontage is a cut/paste method and a collage is just adding upon the original piece.Copyright infringement is when an individual duplicates, distributes, or displays artwork that has previously been done. Copyright protection is the process of controlling and not allowing for reproduction of previous art or media such as software, music, etc.
Royalty free images are copyrighted material that is allowed to the main stream without having to pay royalties to such owner. We should use these instead of google images for safety of copyright and because images are allowed without charge.
