1. The difference between a collage and a photomontage is that a collage has several pictures and can be all sorts of different materials added in. A collage can also be different shapes of pictures or the materials place next to each other to either make a picture or just show a fun memory of things that have happend in your life, others lives, or just history. On the other hand, a photomontage is adding pictures together to make it look more realistic. You can cut the pieces out that you don't want or add more in.
2. Copyright infringement is violation of the rights secured by copyright. Copyright protection is for both published and unpublished work.
3. Royalty free images is the right to use copyrighted material. You should use these because then they know that your not trying to keep it as your own work.
