A photomontage is basically an image that is edited by cutting
and joining parts of other photos. This technique is now known as “photo
shopping” referring to the editing software known as Photoshop. A photo collage
is a combination of a lot of photos in one area, kind of like scrap booking. The
difference between the two is that a collage is a number of photos in a general
area and photomontage is a number of photos combined to look like one.

Copyright infringement is when someone breaks the copyright
laws by claiming or using someone else’s work with out permission or giving
credit. Everyone who creates or designs anything is protected under copyright
law so that no one can steal his or her creation.

Royalty-free images are images that anyone is allowed to use,
with out needing to pay a royalty.
