1) A collage is basically pasting on individual pictures in one layer. They are all separate pictures within one picture. A Photomontage is a mixture of several different photographs to make an illusion to where it seems as if its in the same picture. Its all in the same layer, for example, the Statue of Liberty in Las Vegas.

| This is a Photomontage. A Copyright infringement is when the product is reproduced, distributed, or publicly shown without the permission of the owner. The person who created the product from their own idea has copyright protection. Media Corporations give it to you to make sure its not stolen or used by someone else with a similar idea or just theft. Royalty Free images are when you can use those images from the owner, without having to pay money for every time you use it in you own work or project made. I think that we should use these type of images instead of the ones on the internet because there would be no copyright issues and plagiarism involved and you would have a less chance of being sued. |
