- The
overall style of our game is an eastern fantasy. It is combat based where
the charter has to fight enemies while getting to the end of the level.
Throughout the game our “hero” fights numerous foes and types of
individuals. At every end level the “hero” fights a boss, the reason
behind this is it is a motivation to look forward to, also when defeated
you acquire a skill trait or weapon, etc
- Ken.
- In the beginning of time Ken lives in a small village
that is attacked by enemy forces. No one is safe and everyone hides, Ken
grabs his blade and fights for the good of the people. Our character has
one simple goal. That goal throughout the game is to slay the warlord who
sent forth the attackers to destroy the village. As a new lone warrior Ken
sets out to reach his destiny.
- One of his traits is how adaptive to his surroundings
he is. He’s not a master swordsman, but he is highly skilled. His
strengths are swiftness and quick reflexes. Ken is of a normal origin, he
has no supernatural abilities.
- He is only equipped of what he can carry, he is
lightly armored. At times, his rage and anger can get the best of him and
can hinder is progression of his journey. While Ken was a child, his
parents we kidnapped by the warlord and his minions. He is on a desperate
mission to find them and bring them back home safely.
- The
Boss we picked for the game at the moment is the 5th level boss
and his name is Kahn.
- Kahn is a monstrous oni demon who eats men and kidnaps
children. He is 9 feet tall sporting wild black hair and wields a giant
war hammer. Because of his mass build he was a carpenter for the warlord
building the stairs to his monolith. Kahn was a previous human before the
warlord transformed him, and because of this Kahn believed it to be
strength giving to him.
- Kahn is extremely tough and his skin is rock hard. He
wields a hammer that has the fire surrounding it, which is difficult to
block or defend against. One of his powers is he smashes it on the ground
creating a shockwave of flame. Other then that Kahn is an extremely
skilled fighter and will not give up even if it’s the cost of his life.
- His reactions are slow due to his size and his
weapon’s weight. Since he is of the fire origin, the element of water
takes his flame ability away. And finally, his other weakness is that he
is over confident and at times believes he is given the gift of
immortality.
- The setting is a rather peaceful location surrounded
by a calm forest and waterfalls. Rock formations are seen around the
waterfalls, and it is early day. However, Kahn is beneath Ken’s very feet
where he waits and hides for his next prey.
