Logos: A logo is an image or design that is made to remind the viewer of the company or product that they are using.
Symbols: A symbol is an image or that means one thing, but also stands for something larger than its self. An example of this would be the Statue of Liberty, its just a statue, but it stands for freedom.
The difference between logos and symbols is that logos stand for companies, and symbols are used to send messages. Logos can be contained to one area in the world, but symbols are more world wide.
