So I started painting more of the landscape and I even added textures. As of now it looks decent, I might redo most it though. I feel like painting this from a videogame isn't the best way to be painting so I will probably restart and paint from my imagination. I'll keep the same idea of a desert like terrain but I won't be painting over a photograph.
