Art Analysis

Steel Drake is the artist of this project ”Mercedes - Benz SF1”. This piece of art looks like a Mercedes but they changed a few things on the look of it so that it looked more modern. They made the lighting look perfect with the glare on the hood; it looks like it’s really realistic. When you look throughout the car there is a lot of triangles and squares. The blue along the headlights just give it that luxury look and feel. The looks of this car are very dynamic you can still see the shapes and lines; it’s not smooth and well finished like real cars today. I’m guessing the artist’s intentions and inspirations on this project were to do something to work on his rendering, modeling, and design. He loves nice, slick, and cool looking cars and said “what the heck why not” so he designed a Mercedes. He portrayed the mood as luxury, because when you see a Mercedes you think that and you want one. They just look so clean, and expensive. I think this guy really did a good job; I like it. He couldn’t have done better, because it really looks like the real thing. This is what I want to do. To try my very best to get some outcome that looks like this so that when you compare the real thing with my design, there will be little difference.
