Surrealist art movement started at the 1920’s and the
prolific thing that happened then was surrealism was growing.
It occurred because they thought it would last for longer
than it did.
Most were from Paris.
It is important because without surrealism we’d still be
primitive even when the cavemen were
still alive and well still unevolved there it was they just didn’t know it in
fact even before it was dubbed surrealism it was still around children’s
doodles Leonardo’s earlier work everything was still surrealism even if we
didn’t know it at all.
