A logo is a picture or symbol that represents a company or type of industry. It shows a common trait to that company. Its very basic and is intended to be seen often. Thats most often why logos are not so  detailed or shown to a key concept. Its made to catch the eye of the buyer or individual. Capcom is a video game industry that is widely known from its trademark name and color. Mitsubishi is a car company that is known for the triple diamond, and can be seen from TV's to newspapers. Finally the hostess logo is known for sweets such as the twinkie or there bread. Logos help show people what they manly do with that store or company and thats why they are everywhere.
