Here is the final abstract. As you can see, there are all of the different elements of art placed into this piece. Beginning with shape, anyone who looks at this may see that the triangles in this piece create repetition. Within the triangles there is a lot of value, for the colors go from light yellows to dark reds, and light grays to jet black, all in a gradual manner. When I look at this, the line a the bottom center immediately pulls my eye towards that direction. Going back to the triangles, I also created texture with the different values of color with in the shape, making it look like a shard of glass or something.

Abstract Piece - Jacob Kiester

Throughout my abstract piece, I used many of the elements of design.  Line is shown in a couple of spots on the piece. The grey lines through the red and orange circles and the colored lines in the middle.  Shape is shown through the many circles I created.  I have different senses of direction by having both vertical, diagonal, and horizontal lines.  Size is implemented in my piece by the varying sizes of the circles.  There isn't much texture found in my piece except for the smooth look of the shapes.  Colour is represented through the red, blue, orange, and green color scheme I used. Tone is shown with the varying lights and darks of each color.

      The guernica 

The whole piece is about the second ww2. It’s also recognized as the icon of peace. This piece was described as the most important piece of art of the 20century.Why I think Picasso made this art piece was he was trying to explain the up and downs of his life. The reason why Picasso made this painting because it was for a international expedition in Paris. Picasso made this painting because he was showing his emotions of the second world war 2. He is also showing how he felt about the bombing’s on Guernica.
