i like all three the first two because they involve guitar. the third one because it reminds me of the Star of chaos. i love guitar they use colors to pop out at you and the star of chaos is just a star of chaos

Abstract Art

I like all of these pictures because they all have to do with guitars, they are simple as well as complex, and they just look cool. Especially the astronaut with the guitar. That one is my favorite. In each of these pieces they use Value, Textures, and Shapes.

Jesus Abstract Art

 All three of these pictures have an excellent contrasting perspective. Especially, the picture in the middle with the horse fusion with fire elements, which can never happen in real life. But the other two really connect the picture as if it was really like that in the first place. The details in all three of them are strong when comparing the colors that they had used in it, to make it look as real as it could be.

Abstract images

I enjoy these images for a few reasons. The last two, I highly enjoy the colours that the artist is using. The bright yellow, and the blue go extremely well in my own opinion (2nd image) These images go past reality and bring us to another world that is just as busy as our own, but holds onto it's own value and beauty; a thing we can appreciate. Were as the last two pictures are very colourful, the first one lacks the bright colours but it still holds a beautiful image. The colours mesh well, and it has many elements that I enjoy. Some elements I can see would be repetition with the macaroni like shapes, and the lines are cool as well. Yes, good.

I liked all of these images because of the complexity, textures, and shapes that they used.

Abstract art

I am completely in love with all three of these paintings/photos. They are all so simple. I love simple. I'd love to accomplish something like this in a class or just on my own. These pieces are beautiful. I love the color, the shapes and the flow of each on of them. I believe that something along these line will be a project in the near future. :) These images are using the gradation, the curve line, color and repetition. Like I said early, I think I'm in love!

I liked these three images because they may not use a lot of colors but the texture and the use of lines, shape, and value is done in a way to catch your eye.

Abstract Art Definition

To me, Abstract art is a form of expressing something without knowing how it'll turn out. It's deformed, and changed dramatically. This is my definition of abstract art. :)

Abstract art is not a form of telling someone exactly what the thing is that has inspired you.

Abstract Art Assignment

1. In your own words define what abstract art is and is not. (10 points)

2. Next you will find three abstract images on google that you find cool, drag them onto the desktop and then post them to the blog. Once you have your abstract images you uploaded you will write a short paragraph describing what it is you like about them as well as what elements of design they are using. (15 points)

3. Create an abstract art piece in photoshop with the dimensions of 1280 x 720. Go to http://www.johnlovett.com/test.htm and read over the principles of art and design. Read over the principles of art and design and implement these as well. Once you are finished post your artwork and write a paragraph describe where and how you used the elements and principles of art and design.
(30 points total. 10 points for artwork and 20 points for paragraph description. )

Abstract art

I liked this one because of the colors in it. The shape has cool circles on it.

I liked this one because of the lines and different shapes.

I liked this one cause of the balls that are green and blue and silver.


 My definition of abstract art is a pic that is not trying to represent anything but has many colors.

Music Abstract art

Abstract

This is a great piece of abstract art that creates a dark mood. There is bright light in the background which causes reflection in the foreground. The rest of the piece is full of dark blues and greens and at the very end, gradually goes to a yellow. There are curved lines outlining the shapes and a mist surrounding the piece, giving it a deep feel.
